Eddy Kirya is an Award Winning Tourism & Travel Professional, Hospitality Expert , Strategist and Author of Uganda’s Best Seller Destination Marketing Guide , “UGANDA, Home of Gorillas, The Nile and Unique African Cultures” .
Eddy is a recipient of the Diamond Jubilee Presidential Medal of Honour , in recognition for his contribution to Uganda’s Tourism Sector growth

Eddy brings more than 20 years of Hospitality and Tourism experience and has contributed immensely in transforming Tourism as the leading foreign exchange earner to Uganda’s economy generating over $1.6 billion annually and contributing 9% to Uganda’s GDP pre-COVID. He has been phenomenal in several lodging related developments during his career.

Eddy joined Consulting in 2016 and has worked as Board Member at the Uganda Tourism Board for 6 years contributing significantly to Uganda’s Tourism growth and propelling Tourism into the leading forex earner of Uganda,  Development of the award winning Explore Uganda Destination Brand, Human Resource capitalization and Strategy Oversight.

Prior to joining Uganda Tourism Board, Eddy  served as Managing Director at Travel 256 for 10 years and currently CEO at Eyalama Adventures Ltd. In the infancy stages of his career, Eddy spent five years in the Hospitality industry with Nando’s fast food Chains , where he contributed significantly to revenue generation and customer value , having started out his hospitality career with the. Chain  as a Waiter back in the day. 

As a seasoned leader, Eddy brings considerable skill and strategic leadership experience across multiple business cycles, allowing him to leverage considerable expertise in helping our clients to secure the best execution for their investments.
